چکیده

ABSTRACT In continuation of our model of composite electron, its companion neutrinos, photon and electro-weak gauge bosons as well as their super-partners based on extended Lorentz group SU(3)⊗SU(3) in (8+1) dimensional space-time, we show that the remaining leptons, quarks, lepto-quarks and gluons as well as their respective super-partners can be considered as composites of fundamental particles belonging to the 5 ⊗ 5 dimensional representation of the further extended Lorentz group SU(5)⊗ SU(5) in (24+1) dimensional space-time. The fundamental particles constituting the composite ones do not posses quantum numbers of the latter such as charge, hypercharge etc. Since according to our estimate based on experimental limit on the electron life-time, the mass of the fundamental particles is in the Planckian regime, the composite particles would break up into their constituents at these energies and lose their quantum numbers.

A Supersymmetric Composite Model of Quarks and Leptons

We present a class of supersymmetric models with complete generations of composite quarks and leptons using recent non-perturbative results for the low energy dynamics of supersymmetric QCD. In these models, the quarks arise as composite “mesons” and the leptons emerge as composite “baryons.” The quark and lepton flavor symmetries are linked at the preon level. Baryon number violation is automa...

Composite quarks and leptons in higher space-time dimensions

A new approach towards the composite structure of quarks and leptons in the context of the higher dimensional unified theories is proposed. Owing to the certain strong dynamics, much like an ordinary QCD, every possible vectorlike set of composites appears in higher dimensional bulk space-time, however, through a proper Sherk-Schwarz compactification only chiral multiplets of composite quarks a...

Gauged Supersymmetric Generalized Nonlinear Sigma Models for Quarks and Leptons*

We consider the idea of describing quarks and leptons, and their interactions, in terms of gauged supersymmetric generalized nonlinear sigma models. It is found that the best model is the one based on the Kahler manifold E7/sU(4) X U(1)4, with an atipropriate complex structure. The isotropy representation of the manifold is sufficient for embedding three families of quarks and leptons. We as10 ...

Composite Weak Bosons: a Lattice Analysis

The Standard Model [1] (SM) describes the strong, weak and electromagnetic interactions by a gauge theory based on the group GSM = SU(3) × SU(2) × U(1) which is broken by the Higgs mechanism to SU(3)×U(1). The theory is essentially determined once the matter fields and their transformation under the local gauge transformations of GSM are specified. The matter fields (leptons and quarks) and the...

Quarks, Leptons as Fermion-Boson Composite Objects and Flavor-Mixings by Substructure Dynamics

A fermion-boson-type composite model for quarks and leptons is proposed. Elementary fields are only one kind of spin-1/2 and spin-0 preon. Both are in the global supersymmetric pair with the common electric charge of “e/6” and belong to the fundamental representations of (3,2,2) under the spontaneously unbroken SU(3)C ⊗ SU(2)L ⊗ SU(2)R gauge symmetry induced necessarily by the concept of “Carta...

Yukawa Interaction from a SUSY Composite Model

We present a composite model that is based on non-perturbative e ects of N = 1 supersymmetric SU(NC) gauge theory with Nf = NC + 1 avors. In this model, we consider NC = 7, where all matter elds in the supersymmetric standard model, that is, quarks, leptons and Higgs particles are bound states of preons and anti-preons. When SU(7)H hyper-color coupling becomes strong, Yukawa couplings of quarks...
